Items we accept

Newer, clean and gently used clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, toys, books, housewares, seasonal, sporting goods, lamps, craft supplies, linens, CDs/DVDs/tapes/records (not home-made), and furniture per guidelines. PLEASE REMOVE GARAGE SALE STICKERS.
Items we cannot accept
Appliances (large), aquariums, baby swings, bowling balls, car seats, curtain rods, dehumidifiers, encyclopedias, food, hangers (wire), hazardous materials, helmets, inflatable items, lawn mowers, medicine, microwaves, playpens, Readers Digest condensed books, stationary bikes, treadmills, ceiling fans, blinds or weapons.
Effective September 1, 2010, the state of Wisconsin specifically banned the following from landfills: computer monitors, keyboards, mice, scanners, speakers, printers, fax machines, copiers, TVs, DVD players, VCRs, DVRs and cell phones. The Bargain Garden will no longer accept any of these items.

When dropping off donations, please ring the doorbell on the south side of the building and wait for a volunteer to assist you. We try to maintain a clean store, inside and out. Do not leave donations unattended.
